This play mat in the shape of our native kawakawa leaf will keep little bottoms comfy and warm.

These reversible kawakawa leaf mats are made from soft 100% cotton flannel on one side with a more durable 100% cotton drill on the other side. Use whichever side you like indoors or for outdoor use, have the cotton drill side facing the ground.

NOTE: some bleeding of wool fibers through the fabric is normal but shouldn’t be super noticeable.

These play mats should only be washed when necessary due to spills, splashes etc. A fabric sanitising spray is a good option for keeping fabrics smelling fresh.

If you do need to wash a wool item:
- Cold hand wash or spot clean in approved wool detergent or bar stain remover (such those made by Sard and Ethique)
- Cold rinse
- Gentle spin
- Line dry out of full sun
- Warm iron
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not dry clean
